ExperienceHello. I have a bachelor's degree in Math from Smith College and a graduate degree from the University of Texas Austin in Public Affairs. Today, I am attending the University of California at San Francisco, where I am in med school. I decided to pursue a medical degree because I enjoy people and working with them. That's also why I like tutoring. My tutoring experience includes working via many schools and companies. If you were to talk to students that I have tutored, they would tell you that I inject fun into the process, and I have a lot of patience. I have tutored many ages, and my approach is centered on determining what the student struggles with. Then, I listen to see what tutoring method will best match the student's learning style. I also want to make sure that our approach will give the student improved confidence for all of their academic endeavors. I can tutor in many subjects, including Algebra 1 -4, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, Geometry, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Statistics, Trig, and AP Calculus AB. If a student needs assistance in prepping for standardized tests, I can assist with the MCAT and the GRE as well. I live in San Francisco. When I have free time, I enjoy traveling, running, and hanging out with my dog.
