Education

Tufts University - BS, Biochemistry

Experience

I'm now living in the Bay Area, but I graduated from Tufts University with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and art history. I was able to graduate magna cum laude, and I'm looking forward to medical school. I had the opportunity to teach science for three years as an undergraduate student, teaching everything from genetic research for high school students to chemistry demonstrations for elementary school students. I can tutor a lot of different topics, but I enjoy math and science the most. I don't just like to teach the material though. Instead I enjoy hands-on activities, and I like to make these subjects exciting and fun. When students are having a good time and are engaged, they are more likely to learn successfully. When I have free time, I enjoy reading Kurt Vonnegut, riding my bike, spending time outdoors, drinking coffee, and photography.
