EducationUCLA - BA, Sociology , Lesley University - M.Ed., Education
ExperienceI studied Government and Sociology at the University of California Los Angeles and then worked briefly in politics before entering the field of education. Since that time, I have worked in a variety of educational settings, including a job in a charter school, private tutoring in Madrid, and working with academic enrichment programs. I have taught a wide range of subject matter, and really enjoy enabling students to build a more positive, confident outlook in areas they previously found daunting. For many students, these areas of anxiety fall within Math or standardized testing, but those are just two of the areas in which I work. I am available for tutoring in Math classes ranging from elementary school material through Trigonometry, as well as Reading, Writing, Grammar, Social Sciences, Business, U.S. History, Environmental Science, Physical Science, and other subjects. I also help students prepare for the GED, PSAT, and SAT. When I'm not working, I like to play soccer, play video games, and learn new things.
HobbiesIn my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer, video games, and always learning something new!
