Private tutor in San Francisco, CA
University of Oregon - Bachelors, General Science , Illinois Institute of Technology - Masters, Biology
My decision to become a tutor is based on the difficulties I had in class as an undergraduate. I would spend lots of time struggling and it was hard to get an answer, much less understand the material being taught. Tutoring is satisfying because I can make learning easier and more enjoyable for my students. Struggling with answers for hours is not beneficial. It is okay to have someone help and provide expert guidance with problems. They can answer your homework questions and help you understand the concepts of the material.I can help in math, languages, reading, writing, essay editing, anatomy, biology, chemistry, music, and skills related to the ACT, PSAT, COMPASS, and SAT tests. School is inherently challenging, but I don't think it has to be impossible to conquer. It's my job to help smooth out the process.Currently, I'm a Doctoral Student in Public Health. My undergraduate degree is in general science, while I have a master's degree in Biosecurity and Disaster Preparedness, and Biology. I attended the University of Oregon and the Illinois Institute of Technology. On my free time, my favorite interests are swimming, skiing, college football, playing with my dogs, and all things Holidays.
