Private tutor in San Francisco, CA
University of San Francisco - BA, History , University of San Francisco - MS, Education
I have always enjoyed working with others and teaching. In fact, I have been working with children since the age of 12 as a babysitter. Along with babysitting, I also have been a nanny, camp counselor, and a teacher's assistant for kindergarten classrooms. Currently, I am working in a third grade classroom. Tutoring has always been a passion of mine. I have tutored high school students in math, Spanish, history, and biology. The subject of history is what I am most passionate about. I also love English and math. However, I am open to tutoring a variety of subjects, depending on the needs of my client. I have helped several students bring their failing grades up to satisfactory and above satisfactory grades. My tutoring style is different for each student. I assess the student's abilities and needs on an individual basis. After all, it is really all about the student and what works for him or her. I am currently a senior at the University of San Francisco, where I am in an accelerated graduate program for Education. I also have my preliminary teaching credential. When I am not studying or tutoring, I enjoy spending quality time with loved ones. I also love exercising and working out. I pride myself in my outgoing personality and helpful demeanor.
