Experience
My favorite part about tutoring is what I call- the light bulb effect. It's that expression when my tutee get the point or the link between the concepts or solves a problem. It is one of the most cherished feelings! I have been tutoring for 4-7 years of my life out of which I was hired by the U of Cincinnati to be a peer tutor. I have tutored subjects like Statistics, Algebra, Calculus, Chemistry, Biology and Physics at high school and college levels. I am a certified tutor and have been rated positively by most of my students at the U of Cincinnati. I am excited to serve in the San Francisco community as I have moved here for my Masters in Environmental Management at the University of San Francisco. I enjoy tutoring because I believe that knowledge grows by sharing it. I am here to train my students to be independent learners. Thus, our tutoring sessions will not only help you with the subject at hand but we will also work on successful study skills. Having taken ACT and SAT myself, I am interested in helping students prepare for these exams along with helping school and college level students with classes like Statistics, Chemistry, Algebra, Calculus, Biology and Physics. I have taken these classes and I understand the tactics to ace them! I would work together with the student to help them grasp the concepts better and learn the skills to be independent learners! I am excited to meet you and share my years of experience and knowledge to help you grow in your career. Hobbies
I am interested in a bunch of stuff like dancing, painting and SCUBA diving ( I am a certified Advanced Open Water diver). I love to swim and play around different art techniques. In my free time I also like to cook and explore different restaurants. I love to read non-fictional novels but I am a big fan of One Piece, Batman, Ironman and Deadpool (the comic versions) and you can often find me reading graphic novels, comics and mangas and sketching my own too! I love (and live) to travel and explore new cultures and I am passionate about conserving out planet.
