Like other students, I know what it feels like to be behind, embarrassed, and afraid to ask questions. It wasn't until attending post-bacc that I learned how to be a proactive student and engage with the material on my own terms. Since then, I have actively worked with educationally disadvantaged students so that they won't have the same experience that I had. As a tutor, I aim to help students feel comfortable and confident with difficult subjects. Part of that is being patient with each student, regardless of their skill level, and making them feel welcome asking for help. All I ask from my students is an eagerness to learn and their best effort. Please note that I strongly prefer to meet students only at SFSU library.

Hobbies
My favorite dance crews are ACA, Quest Crew, and Hilty & Bosch. I mostly listen to hip hop, R&B, and Chinese Pop. On weekends I find myself hiking, trying new food, or practicing my beginner bboying. Hidden passions include producing short films, organizing sports days with my friends, and playing top 40 music (badly) on the piano.
