Experience
I am currently a Ph.D. researcher in physics education at Harvard University, and recently obtained my master's degree in Biophysics from Harvard University. I graduated with highest honors from the University of Colorado at Boulder with degrees in physics and mathematics, and a minor in computer science. I am passionate about education and will ensure you perform at the highest level in your courses. I have tutored and helped students of all backgrounds find academic success. If coached properly, every student can become a high academic performer. The set of skills required are known, and can be taught. My greatest strength lies in my ability to maximize student learning in the most time-efficient way possible. My students benefit from clear explanations and a distillation of concepts into their basic components that come as a result of my many years of experience. I can tutor physics, mathematics, and chemistry at all levels; the youngest students I tutor are in 6th grade, and I tutor students all the way up to graduate school. I also have a great deal of experience preparing students for standardized tests such as the ACT, SAT, and GRE. I despise standardized tests but their importance to students' academic career is impossible to ignore.
