I graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Health Education (Public Health) from San Francisco State University in May of 2015.
Experience
Currently I am the director of an after school program for a private elementary school in the Richmond district. For over two years I've volunteered with Reading Partners at multiple elementary schools. I've also worked at a nonprofit housing project assisting in grant writing for youth programs. I aspire to become a full time grant writer for youth programs. It's amazing to see how one on one help can improve a child's confidence in their academic abilities and in themselves. Working with elementary children is a rewarding experience that I truly enjoy.
