Experience
Tutored at the elementary school level for the Greenfield Union School District of Bakersfield, California. Worked for one year as an editor, designer, and published author for the literary magazine "A Sharp Piece of Awesome." I want to be a tutor so that I can put forth my previous tutoring skills, my knowledge of the English language in all aspects, and my creative writing experience. I believe that my effort to become a tutor will make tutoring more accessible to students of all ages who need extra help with their studies. I aim to become a college professor once I complete school, and that has always been my primary goal and is certainly a drive for me to teach in any aspect until then.

Hobbies
I write poetry, short stories, and memoirs. I also play guitar and allow music to be one of my primary inspirations and tools for meditation. When I am not in class, I can usually be found reading classic literature and more modern novels, as well as collections of poetry that have been published over the last few centuries. My favorite poets are Arthur Rimbaud, Charles Baudelaire, and Rainer Maria Rilke. My favorite novelists and story writers include Feodor Dostoevsky, Ernest Hemmingway, Ken Follett, and Cormac McCarthy.
