I am taking time off from classroom teaching to start a company, bloomequation.com, that incorporates my love for creative writing, mathematics and flowers. This venture keeps me occupied, but I am also dedicated to writing (and pushing my writings into publication) at least once each week and to enjoying the outdoors in a way that keeps me fit. I love bike riding, running through Golden Gate Park and hiking in the Bay Area.
