Hobbies
I love working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I am from the East Coast and went to college in Maine, but have been living out in SF for a year. I hope to explore more of the West Coast and become more familiar with SF because there is so much to see. I like going to the movies and spending time outside on the weekends. I also enjoy reading and writing poetry; I studied English in college and I miss it! I am hoping to tutor at the college level, as I did that when I was in college and had a great experience. I tutored all subject matters, from the humanities to the sciences, and I particularly enjoyed working with English language learners on grammar and structure. Right now, I work with 5-8 year olds as a small group instructor and tutor, but I like the challenge of college papers. I can use my English major skills to help you brainstorm, outline, draft, revise, and rewrite your papers at all stages. I am happy to help in an indirect tutoring style.
