Private tutor in San Francisco, CA
Education
I am a 4th Year Medical Student from St. Louis, MO with a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience. I graduated summa cum laude from my University and with an honors degree. I am spending this next year working on public health research at Stanford University and University of California, San Francisco.
Experience
I have over 5 years of tutoring experience working as a private tutor and with two University tutoring centers. I have tutored one-on-one and in group sessions. I enjoy teaching science and would love to stay involved with the sciences during my research year. I am very interested in helping students identify their learning style in order to help them develop studying skills that best complement how they learn. I focus on teaching active learning study skills that students can continue to use as they progress through their education. My areas of focus include general and AP biology, algebra, anatomy & physiology, molecular cell biology, and general chemistry.
