I just finished my first semster at San Francisco State with a 3.5 and plan to build on that in the Spring. I am currently working as a tutor for Pre-School children at the Visitation Valley Family Center. I come from a large family, three brothers and two sisters and am the second oldest. During my high school career I helped my brothers with their math homework and I still help them out whenever I'm on break. I want to tutor because my goal is to become a high school teacher and tutoring is clearly a great start, especially tutoring high school students. I just finished Algebra II with a strong B+ and now I'm going to attempt to retake Pre Calc. I took that class my senior year in high school and didn't do too well but I think this semester it will be different because I have a new, different attitude.
