I have a BFA in Advertising, emphasis Art Direction from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. 2012-2015 GPA: 3.5 Before I came to the Academy in 2012, I spent 2 years studying (2010-2012) Graphic Design at Texas Christian University. At the time, I was also minoring in music. Throughout High school I was heavily involved in music, as I went to a school where the marching band was given more attention than the football team. During off season, in addition to school, I took many art classes at an art school called Laguna Gloria, to keep my hand skills sharp.

Experience

- President for 2 years of the Advertising Club at AAU. - Currently working PT as a designer for a small marketing firm. - 7 years experience teaching/ tutoring at summer camps, church camps and after school programs. - Experience working with special needs children (Autism/ Aspergers/ ADD/ ADHD) as a caretaker and tutor. - Girl Scout: Bronze & Silver Award - Completed 150 service hours in 6 months for a Students in Service Scholarship. - I want to be a tutor because I love to learn and give back. Tutoring and teaching is a very rewarding job and I have enjoyed being able to be on that two way street in education. I was a mentor to many students at the Academy of Art University and would love to be able to continue giving back now that I've graduated.

I am all about learning and growing as a person. I try to take classes when I can to widen my skill set. - I love the arts and can be found soaking in culture at art galleries, plays and the symphony.
