After I passed the C-Best in June of 2002, I was a substitute teacher for the San Francisco Unified School District for over 5 1/2 years primarily at the elementary school leve. I also taught Language Arts/Social Science classes at the Middle and High School leve. I have also tutored secondary school students in Mathmatics and Science as a substitute paraprofessional for the school district. I can teach any subject up to the 10 grade level and enjoy introducing students to the world of abstract ideas and reasoning processes. As my college degree was in Public Administration and had to write many essays to earn my degree, I am especially interested in tutoring social science courses.
