Experience

Tutoring Experience: Editor in Chief, Del Mar High School Perspective Newspaper In charge of all aspects of the paper including directing editors, staff writers, fundraising and assigning grades to students as well as helping student edit their weekly assignments and articles. Peer Tutor, Del Mar High School Led class, assisted students with homework and in class assignments, and acted as an assistant I think one of my biggest motivators to become a tutor is my love of history and learning and exploring the past. I know that some material can be hard to digest at first and I would love to have the opportunity to be the intermediary between the material and your son/daughter to help nourish their understanding of history. History to me, is more then just memorizing facts its trying to find a connection and empathetic link to the past and that can allow you to truly appreciate and understand it. I hope to bring my love and understanding of this vast topic to your son/daughter as their tutor. Hobbies

I would describe myself as a happy and motivated person in all that I try to accomplish. I am very driven to success and will push myself to achieve the goals that I set, taking pride in the quality of the work that I produce and the manner through which I work to pursue these goals. That being said, I am a very caring and kind individual who genuinely wants to help students develop a love of learning and history at the level that I have cultivated for myself. I hope that my experience working with your son/daughter allows them to feel comfortable and proficient in the subject that I am tutoring them
