I am an experienced English teacher and professional writer who began teaching as an adjunct lecturer while in graduate school. I then accepted a position teaching grammar, composition and creative writing at a university in Quito, Ecuador where I spent the next four years. I have since tutored non-native English speakers of varying levels in addition to working as an Academic Coach with high school students in San Francisco, where I gave one-on-one and group tutorials in English, Spanish, and Social Studies.
