Experience
I am currently an Adjunct Instructor of Economics and teach Principles of Micro/Macroeconomics. My classes range in size from 40 - 65 students, and I am in charge of all aspects of these courses. Additionally, I have 5+ years of experience as a tutor, teaching assistant, and teacher. I have tutored classes ranging from introductory to graduate economics courses. I was a teaching assistant for principles courses as well as graduate macroeconomics. I also teach summer math classes at U.C. Berkeley to low-income high schools students. During this time, I have taught Geometry, Algebra II, & Pre-Calculus. Academic excellence and experience only represent a portion of the what tutors have to offer. I believe that education is the most important part of a young person's life and it is my goal to guide students through their educational journey. I have worked with individuals from a large variety of backgrounds/experiences, and I understand our educational system from many different angles. Tutors play an influential role in the lives of their students. I take this responsibility extremely seriously and understand the key roles of patience, empathy, & guidance in cultivating an effective tutoring session. Please contact me anytime to set-up a session. I look forward to hearing from you.
