EducationCalifornia State University Fullerton - BA, Mathematics
ExperienceWith a strong educational background in mathematics, I enjoy passing on my knowledge to other students who are struggling in their math courses. I hold a bachelor's degree in Pure Mathematics with a minor in Music from California State University Fullerton. I have four years of tutoring experience, and I have taught virtually all math courses from elementary math to calculus III. However, I specialize in teaching early calculus classes, including integration techniques, like AP calculus BC. I also tutor science and physics. When I tutor, I have a passion for helping students develop a strong understanding of the concepts of the courses they are struggling in and not just teaching them to memorize answers to equations. I also help them develop skills to work in a very efficient fashion. I think that math has a false stigma of being difficult that makes many students fear the courses. I like to help them overcome the fear and realize that anyone can truly learn even the most advanced math courses when they work hard. When not tutoring, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends, discussing philosophical theories, and playing challenging video games. I also spend some of my free time researching math.
