Sean Larabee has been teaching and tutoring since 2005 and is currently available to help you succeed in your toughest math classes. As a private tutor, Sean has helped students raise SAT scores by over 300 points, master Calculus, and earn As in AP Statistics. Sean holds a BA from Georgetown University in Economics with a minor in Mathematics and an MA in Economics from the University of California - Irvine. During his undergraduate studies he worked as an SAT class instructor for Kaplan Test Prep, and he currently teaches GRE test prep for the UC Irvine Extension program. Since 2013, Sean has taught Probability and Game Theory at the John's Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth summer program. Sean's teaching style is extremely energetic and relentlessly encouraging. He emphasizes comprehension above memorization, while still requiring extensive practice in order to solidify skills.
