Experience
As an undergraduate, I attended Connecticut College for my bachelor's degree. Shortly after, I enrolled in the law program at Suffolk University and got my law degree. By 2006, I also obtained a master's degree in security studies at the Naval Postgraduate School. Along with being an admitted attorney who's licensed to practice in four states and the U.S. Virgin Islands, I have also been working as a teacher, tutor, and instructor in education and government sectors. I have teaching experience in a wide range of exciting fields, including security, emergency management, and even public health. My favorite courses to teach are those that involve government studies and political science. I am especially passionate about these fields because government is something that affects all of our lives, and the more we know about how the government works, the easier it is to understand the whole democratic process. As a teacher, I prefer to give my students a hands-on learning experience that helps them apply the things they learn practically, outside of the classroom, so that they're able to better understand how government and security works. When I'm not spending my time teaching, I love being outdoors. Some of my favorite activities include hiking and camping.
