Experience
I LOVE teaching! I have tutored and taught Spanish and English at the college and high school levels. I have a Masters degree in Spanish and Learning Styles, and a BA in Spanish. After several years of tutoring Spanish and English at all levels, and beginning French, I am very happy to have had 100% returning students and positive feedback from each student. My style is relaxed, as I teach a foreign language. I think feeling comfortable is most important when trying to understand a new language. I also bring various techniques that include technology, short grammar videos, games, short culture videos, songs that the STUDENT likes, texts from topics that the given STUDENT likes, and I really customize each training session to get my student up to speed and able to understand the given concepts, no matter if it is English 100, Spanish 1 or Spanish 5. I have also taught English as a second language at various levels. I have taken over 20 graduate-level classes on second language development, including Second Language Learning and Theory from Stanford, Spanish 301 Comparative Literature, French 1 - 5, college level Spanish and French, Advanced Spanish Grammar. I have translated for former US President Clinton as I am certified volunteer from the Red Cross. I can be reached via cell, email, or IM chat. I have over 14 references just FYI that I can email you the comments from my website, or provide email address of parents you can contact them directly. I look forward to helping you one day soon.

Hobbies
I lived in Spain in college and visited Spain in high school. I've traveled to Mexico, Aruba, and El Caribe. I have been proud of my 100% retention of all students that I have tutored because I am helpful, easy going and effective. Currently I teach teachers at a large public school. I've taught French 1 and visited a great french family (Lyon, outside Paris) for a wonderful 2 months. Last summer, I went to Italy and loved that travel experience too.
