Education

Graduate of Biology and Psychology Double Major at University of California Berkeley with a GPA of 3.85.

Experience

I was the Undergraduate Student Instructor for Biology 1B at UC Berkeley for over a year. I always enjoyed tutoring for regular school classes. Math, Science, History, English- name it and I've taught it before. I've tutored professionally as well as tutoring my little sister daily ever since I was in middle school. I've tutored all SAT subjects as well as SAT2 Subject tests for three years and all of my students have received excellent results. I've come up with my own unique study tactics that help students improve fast and efficiently. I provide students with real practice exams as well as intensive vocabulary lists that are specialized for each student. I know exactly how to improve however much a student wants to improve in all subjects. I've also tutored for college application processes such as essay revisions or even coming up with topics to write about so that you could appeal as a candidate. College essays can be a hard process if you don't know exactly how to appeal to the admission directors or if you don't have anything significant to write about. I know which extra curricular activities look good and which scores can get into which universities. I can definitely plan out the whole college application process for you. I was admitted to Columbia University, New York University, Cornell University, University of Southern California, UC San Diego and Northwestern University. I've always wanted to be a tutor to help students who are in places where I was before. I know it's really hard to do well in some subjects and I understand that everyone has weaknesses. I've taken introductory chemistry, physics, biology, calculus, as well as various humanity classes in college. I also work very well in kids as I've tutored English to third graders for two years previously. Hobbies

I love sports. I was on the varsity soccer team as well as cross country, basketball, and swimming. I also love reading. I can never stop reading new books that catch my eye whenever I visit Barnes and Noble. I also love listening to music as I'm a music player myself. I play the saxophone as well as the trombone! I'm overall a very well-rounded person who's always up for something new.
