Hobbies
ONLINE TUTOR. I love to help students understand/master their coursework and have been doing so for over 6 years now. I usually will start the session off by explaining the topic, solving questions for the student to follow and then solving questions together with the student. I usually will end the sessions with a few problems for the student to practice or think about before the next session. For example, say the topic of the day is 2-D motion in Physics. I will first compare/contrast it to 1-D motion, show how the kinematic equations will be modified depending on what direction(s) to solve in. Then, I will solve 3 example problems of varying difficulty. Ball projected at an angle, projected horizontally etc. Then the student and I will solve other problems together, allowing the student to brainstorm first. The session will end with homework (usually ~20 minutes of work) so that the student can retain most/all of what was taught.
