Experience

My passion lies in helping other students through tutoring and mentoring to achieve their dreams. I have experience tutoring, teaching, and researching. I have been tutoring 3rd graders to college students since 2014, have experience as an undergraduate student instructor for human genetics, and have researched for heart regeneration for two years. My approach to tutoring is twofold. Each tutoring session will involve lots of active learning in specific subjects; however, I also strive to teach my students a growth mindset, positive thinking, time management, scheduling, and stress management. My strengths lie in biology, biochemistry, physics, chemistry, anatomy, and math (up to calculus and statistics).
