Dates Sep 2017 – Dec 2017: ESL (English as a Second Language) adult classroom volunteering. This Fall 2017 volunteer session took place on the CCSF Ocean campus. The classroom consisted of mainly Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, and Russian native speakers. The instructor for this classroom requested the volunteers use their time to assist the students directly with questions, homework assignments, and discussion sessions. Student Library Page/ Assistant | College of the Redwoods FEBRUARY 2012 – MAY 2013 My main station of work was at the circulation desk – this is where our patrons come to check out books, ask us questions about the library computers and technology, and for assistance in finding a book if the librarian is out. Regular projects or tasks I've been involved with are: • cataloging & processing new books • shelve reading assigned sections • maintaining cleanliness throughout the library stacks and study sections.

My hobbies at the moment include: Knitting, reading, hiking, camping, traveling, linguistics, watercolors, museums I am also an avid language learner. In addition to learning German at the moment, I hope to take immersion classes in Russian and Spanish within the next five years.
