Daniel K.
Private tutor in San Francisco, CA
Education
Junior Anthropology Major, Broadcast and Electronic Communication Minor at San Francisco State University
Experience
I've worked with children aged 2-15 as a swim instructor for almost two years, and I carry with me an intense enthusiasm about education and learning in general. I wish to work as a tutor because it allows me to combine the skills I've acquired via the aforementioned experiences and traits, as well as allows me to assist a student in need. I worked with tutors in high school to overcome difficulties I was experiencing in school, so I have the experience, insight and knowledge to work with students of a range of different needs.

Hobbies
I'm a student with an absolute love for anthropology and history. I've spent the last two summers in Belize and Ecuador working on archaeological digs from the Maya and Inca, respectively, worlds. I love to travel to and participate with the people of places like these around the world because it broadens one's global perspective, while allowing them to live fully and enthusiastically. Between summers, I'm a bit of a bookworm. I love to study, but I'm also an adept writer with a passion for writing, everything from papers to poetry. I have a deep understanding for the English language, as well as some Spanish, which could be useful for many potential students.
