Experience
As an undergraduate, I was a teaching assistant for eight quarters in General Chemistry, Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry. I also did 1-on-1 tutoring for each of these subjects as well. My favorite part about teaching is seeing the exact moment a concept begins to finally "click" for the student, whether it's learning how to balance redox reactions or understanding nucleophiles and electrophiles.

Hobbies
A weird mix of a lot of things. Boy Scouts taught be to love the outdoors. Hiking, backpacking, camping, etc. I also grew up playing baseball and am currently about to start playing in a softball league to scratch that itch, though I can be found playing a variety of competitive sports. I recently picked up surfing and photography and have had decent success at both. I also enjoy video games and am currently bouncing between Rocket League and the new Zelda. When I can, I go home to see my dogs. I tried picking up guitar but haven't found enough time yet.
