I tutor math and science for school (high school and college level) or standardized tests (AP, SAT, SAT II, ACT, GRE). I've TAed college biochemistry classes, tutored small groups of high school students in math and science, and worked with ESL students one-on-one. Over five years of tutoring, I've learned how to be flexible and responsive to different learning styles and paces. I strive to create a positive learning environment where questions and ideas flow freely, so that students may gain an appreciation for the subjects they're learning. I also have over a year of experience reading and giving feedback for college essays and medical school essays - it's a lot of fun to help students let their personality shine on paper.
