Experience
Currently I work for a biomedical research laboratory at the University of California, San Francisco. For eight years I have been tutoring and sharing my love for science while working with young people. I enjoy one on one tutoring and feel it is the best way to mentor students, as I thrive on the interaction and establishing clear lines of communication that lend themselves to delivering key learning messages. I like to try and inspire my students through the use of a fun teaching technique to get them engaged. The most rewarding part of tutoring is working with students to establish learning goals and then helping them achieve those goals. This can only happen if lessons are customized and designed to meet the specific needs of each student. Engaging students in a lesson plan that they are excited about and intrigued by gets them motivated to learn and reach their potential. I am a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. I tutor all levels of Algebra, Precalculus, Trigonometry. Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Math, Science, Anatomy, Cell Biology, and Molecular Biology. I look forward to being a guide for students headed down a learning path to success.
