Experience

I have experience working with K-8 in the afterschool program of Presidio Hill School. Duties entailed making sure the students were engaged in their studies and behaving in a manner which was conducive to others' studying. I assisted several students 1-on-1 with math homework, writing and editing research essays, and reading comprehension. I want to continue tutoring because working with youth has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

Hobbies

I enjoy all sports, but my favorite is basketball. I have played on several teams throughout my schooling, but I now mostly play pickup games at the gym or at a park. I am continuing to teach myself to play guitar, and trying to learn to transcribe music I hear to the instrument. Other hobbies of mine include reading, writing poetry, writing songs, and listening to my all time favorite band, The Beatles.
