Completed one year of teaching I want to tutor in the San Francisco area because I love helping children succeed, specifically in the middle grades. Middle grades students need as much support as they can receive to help boost their confidence. I will take any chance I can to help a student be successful. I held many leadership roles at my former school. Some include: Cheerleading Coach, Group/Club leader of service projects and 8th grade trip to Washington D.C., lead math meetings, and was picked to participate in STEM technology lab for 2016.

Hobbies
I am very outgoing and love to explore the unknown. These qualities really help when tutoring one on one because it allows myself and the student to think about the material at a deeper level. I love being outdoors and love animals. One of my favorite ways to teach is to make the subject relevant to the child's everyday life. If they can relate it to something they are interested in, it can be easier (and a lot more fun) to comprehend.
