Hobbies

I have a passion for teaching people what I know and an even greater passion for learning. I love the intersection of multiple subjects (especially exciting ones!), as there has been a lot of research that shows -- and I personally believe -- that this is the best way to learn. In particular, I'm excited by where robots, books, economics/investing, socialization, and artificial intelligence collide and have used these to create my own interesting projects. A couple examples: * I've built a foosball table that plays against people * I've given speeches to audiences of hundreds on where AI and search software stands and where it's going * I've written my own software platform for teaching the basics of programming while using a robot for exciting student feed-back This passion has led me to quit my job and pursue a more personal passion in making education better. As a major upside: I'm generally available for tutoring sessions most any day at most any time :)
