I have benefited from studying at some of the best schools this country has to offer, and I am pleased to pass on what I have learned to today's students. I am a graduate of The Gatton Academy of Math and Science, a high school associated with Western Kentucky University that was honored by Newsweek as the country's best public secondary school. I am currently studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, ranked the nation's top university by U.S. News. I also took a one-year hiatus from MIT to study at Harvard in the fields of Economics and Biology.Along the way, I was given the opportunity to teach and tutor students for six years in Mathematics, especially Calculus. I have also tutored the subjects of Chemistry, Biology, and Physics for the past four years. I have found this to be an enjoyable way to give back, and I find that I prefer to teach students one at a time in private sessions that allow for more individualized study. I have taught students from the age of seventh-graders in middle school to adults, helping them with a wide range of math and science subjects as well as review courses at the college level. I also provide tutoring for SAT exams.
