At Amherst, I studied English and Spanish Literature, History, and Political Science, and I have a passion for helping students of all ages to develop a lifelong interest in personal expression, literature, art, and in foreign languages and cultures. There is nothing more beautiful to me than seeing a student of any age delve further into understanding the world around them. Seldom do I feel so much joy as when I have the opportunity help a student develop the ability to articulate their own thoughts, opinions, and ideas about the world and about their own lives. I have experience tutoring students K-6 students in ELA, ESL, and Math; in tutoring middle and high school students with learning disabilities in English Literature, Social Studies and History, and in tutoring college-level students in general essay-writing, English Literature and Dramatic Arts.
