Experience

Learning to code makes you a modern day wizard. I've been programming since I was about 10 years old and the thing I still remember is how much fun it was to make magic happen on a computer screen. I see people open up so much creative possibility for themselves by learning to speak a computer's language. I believe that coding is an art and a science. It's important to learn the technical aspects so you can make things happen, but it's also important to understand it as a creative act. Each solution is unique and beautiful. I help you understand how you can apply your own unique and beautiful creativity to the world of computers. I have 13 years of industry experience, including 4 years in the US Air Force Air Intelligence Agency. In that time I worked on 3D military simulations, security cryptography applications and healthcare administration software used in hospitals. I have made a few games over the years and like using the principles of game development to help people learn and understand programming better. Lately I've been working with javascript and Elixir stacks and I can show you how to quickly set up a web site with a database and begin writing software ready for the web. If you can make it work in a browser, then you can easily show it off to anybody. Canvas and Javascript technology is advanced enough that you can do almost anything in a browser so that's where I focus. Not only am I good with code, I'm good with connecting and teaching. I facilitate authentic relating games where I help people learn how to have more connection and intimacy in their lives. I know how to show up and meet you with respect and presence. We'll start where you're at and make sure you learn in a way that makes sense to you. Send me a message and tell me what you want to accomplish and any struggles that you may be having. I'll help you get clear on what to do next. Looking forward to meeting you!
