My goal is to encourage, expand and enliven the joy of learning to all my students. Whether it be breaking down a particularly difficult Latin clause, delving deeper into the themes of a book, or finding one's voice on paper, I find particular satisfaction in enabling them to grow and achieve their goals. I have tutored for two years now in a number of subjects. My particular strengths are in Latin, History, Reading Comp and Writing. I like to take an easy going approach where I challenge my students to take personal pride and accountability in their studies. I achieve this, in part, by encouraging them to have their homework finished before the tutoring session, so we can review it and go over any problem areas. I find this approach to be more efficient and effective.
