Experience
For some people, being a tutor just means to inform their students about the "knowledge", like formulas, equations. But for me, it's far more than that. When I was s Sophomore back in China, I volunteered to be a preliminary school teacher to teach them making artifacts. I felt like I can not only give them knowledge, but also passion. I could get involved in their lives and even influence their future. ------------------------------------------------------ I majored in Structural Engineering when I was in graduate school, and I also took lots of Computer Science classes to get involve in some innovate cut-edge technologies. I recently graduated from Stanford and started to work full time in SF. ------------------------------------------------------ Tutoring Experience -I was TA for a Calculus class and got a good evaluation -One on one math teaching for about one year -As an native Chinese speaker, I taught my friends Chinese all the time -I got 168/170 on GRE Math and helped my friends on GRE Math for about one year ------------------------------------------------------ Awards and Honors -UM-SJTU Joint Institute Dean's List, Fall 2009-2010, Fall&Winter2010-2011 -Shanghai Jiao Tong University Academic Excellence Scholarship Recipient -University of Michigan Civil Engineering Scholarship Recipient
